WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.
Farmhouse CrossFit uses three main fitness components that deliver dramatic athletic capacity and results for athletes of any level. All CrossFit workouts are constantly varied functional movements performed at a relatively high intensity.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR THE ATHLETE?
• Constantly varied means you will rarely do the same workout twice. By switching up the workout, you keep the body and your muscles guessing eliminating plateaus common at traditional gyms.
• We use Functional movements that prepare you for day-to-day obstacles, using movements that mirror real life – running, jumping, throwing, squatting, pulling, and pushing.
• And we do this at a High intensity. Performing vigorous exercise in a timed-fashion is the most effective way to positively change your endurance capacity, peak your performance and modify your body composition.
